Taking faith and work equally seriously.

Avodah Collective is an invite-only community of Christian founders, entrepreneurs and builders — people who want to build excellent things and stay faithful to Christ while they do it.

Why the Collective exists

There are many Christian communities, and many entrepreneur communities. There are far fewer places designed specifically for people trying to take both seriously.

Christian builders often find that church conversations rarely touch the realities of running a business, while founder spaces rarely make room for faith beyond the surface. Many end up carrying the weight of both on their own.

Avodah Collective is here to bridge that gap: a place for friendship, honest conversation and practical help between people who share the same convictions and similar work.

Avodah

עבודה

Avodah is a Hebrew word whose biblical usage spans work, worship and service. The same root describes working the ground in Genesis, the service of worship offered to God, and service rendered to others.

We don’t want to make more of the word than it can bear. But it names something Scripture holds together that modern life tends to pull apart: that ordinary work can be offered to God, and that serving people well is part of how we love Him.

That integration — not a slogan, but a way of working — is what the Collective is built around.

What we hold to

A few principles that shape how we build and how we treat one another. They’ll be refined as the community grows.

  1. Christ before ambition

Business is important. It is not ultimate. Our identity isn’t our company, and our worth isn’t our revenue.

  2. Stewardship

We treat opportunities, resources, influence and abilities as things entrusted to us — not things we simply own.

  3. Excellence

We do good work and take craftsmanship seriously. Faithfulness and mediocrity don’t belong together.

  4. Generosity

We help people without treating every relationship as a transaction, and give without keeping score.

  5. Integrity

How something is built matters as much as what gets built.

  6. Community

Entrepreneurship can be isolating. We are not meant to build everything alone.

  7. Service

Business should ultimately create real value for, and serve, other people.

Find your people. Build what you’ve been entrusted with.
